There's always a twist
So, where was I?
Oh yeah! I was leaving the library in Tigard; Oregon, the two houseless gentlemen were discussing the closure of the library and I had just lost service. Bringing me to a parking lot somewhere on the side of a road to retype my previous adventure using my phones hotspot.

Title - The Mt. Everest of my mind
Jason and the young man were right. The rain had turned into snow. A lot of snow. I woke up in my car and I could feel the silence. The windows were covered. But I was warm. I stayed in the lot I stayed in the night before.
I knew today was the day I drove days for. The powder day I was promised, and it delivered. I was so excited I barley gave myself time to change, turning on the car, and getting the snow off the windows. I couldn’t move fast enough. I had no idea what a powder day in this town meant.
Pulling out of my parking spot and what I had hoped was the road, turned into a mixture of deep thick dirt and snow. Suddenly I found myself on a mound. My car was buried.
I geared halfway up and set for the coffee shop in hopes to share with Carrie the barista my great experience in Portland. I loved it. The roads were full of snow and traffic was slow. As I got closer to the town the coffee shop was in, the weather changed from snow to rain.
I was greeted by a lovely barista I didn’t recognize but I passed on the good news, maybe she’ll tell Carrie. I got my coffee and headed up to the slopes. Timberline was the spot.
