About

Welcome to my corner of the internet where I practice the craft of writing in public.

This blog is organized into four main categories, each serving a different purpose in my creative practice:

The Ramble is where I think out loud. Stream-of-consciousness reflections, observations, and the kind of thoughts that don't quite fit anywhere else. Raw and unpolished.

Practicing Writing is exactly what it sounds like. Exercises, experiments, and intentional attempts to develop specific skills. This is the workshop space, where I'm less concerned with perfection and more interested in process.

Might be a poem contains pieces that have a lyrical quality but don't quite commit to being capital-P Poetry. The uncertain, in-between things. The fragments and impressions.

Attempt At Short Stories is where I try my hand at fiction. Some succeed, some don't. The title is intentionally humble - these are attempts, not masterpieces.

I believe in showing the work, not just the results. I believe in the value of practice over perfection. And I believe that sometimes the best way to figure out what you want to say is to start saying it.

Thanks for reading.
