I'm in it now

I'm in it now.

I've got the ball rolling and it's true what they say, the more you do something, the more you think about it, the more the answers start to come to you. I think tonight is definitely going to be productive.

I've been working a little more on breaking up senses. When the background of the story plays out and how the reader is introduced to it.

Tonight, I've already started the sections and I am working on how it will end so I can set the pieces up to fall there.

There is a level of suspense that needs to build before you just tell the facts up front. A little side story that introduces parts of the characters pasts. It's interesting to develop, I want the right pieces to fall. How does something escalate slow enough to build tension but not escalate too slowly where the reader loses interest. I'm also learning that it's not always so much about describing every piece of the surroundings but more how they feel. So, I've found myself going places and trying to describe in my head the scenario. What it might smell like or how the atmosphere coexists with the people. Is there tension? What would it feel like if there was? I don't go out for long though; I can describe social anxiety without an issue.

I had a friend recently recommend that I just write the story for a while and let back on so much studying, I'll never get anything done, so yes, that might be a little right, so I'll go with what I have for now, continue with the book that's helping me write this but maybe take a step or two back from so much philosophy. Although what I've gathered so far feels like a hefty amount to work off of. So, I'm excited, I have a lot of notes to finally look back on.

Thank you as always for reading.

Until next time.
